Re:  Audio Enhancers Celebrates 25 Years of Service

Ardmore, Tenn., August 13, 2007 . Boasting the world's largest selection of vehicle- and driver-specific models of audio speaker enclosures, Audio Enhancers celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.

During the past quarter century, Audio Enhancers has supplied car speaker cabinets to more than 900 dealers and distributors throughout the world. Based in Ardmore, Tennessee, the international provider has been ranked as one of the top 50 Tennessee companies with the fastest revenue growth in recent years according to Business Tennessee magazine. Most recently, Audio Enhancers received the Industry of the Year Award from the Ardmore AL/TN Chamber of Commerce.

Though having a strong reputation as the technological leader in the industry, the company is distinguished by its unique 100% product satisfaction guarantee. "If you receive an enclosure that you are not completely satisfied with," explained Ted Sharp, president of Audio Enhancers, "we will make it right or refund your money. With decades of collective experience in enclosure manufacturing, we.re that confident we can meet or exceed your expectations."

"We've offered a superior level of personal service to our clients since 1982," Ted continued. "We've always based our company on three simple principals: quality, excellent craftsmanship and unsurpassed customer service." By adhering to these principals, Ted and his wife, Johanna, have grown the business from a small backyard operation begun in Lake Charles, Louisiana into an internationally known company.

Now 25 years later, the company continues to embrace Ted's vision and principles. However, as the company's 25th anniversary gets underway, Ted and Johanna admit their corporate mission and vision have changed somewhat since the company's inception.

"We've had to endure a lot of personal and professional challenges this year," confided Johanna. In January of this year, Ted was diagnosed with throat cancer, which brought the couple's mutual goals into sharper focus and priorities into perspective.

"I'm thankful for our loyal employees, our customers. prayers, calls, emails and cards of encouragement we received during these past months," shared Johanna. "Ted's prognosis is very good and his faith is carrying him through."

Complicating matters, later in April, a windy day caused a burn pit at the Audio Enhancers. facility to spread, burning the back of building.

"The fire happened during Ted's worst week of treatment," Johanna remembered. "We were blessed that we were able to save the building. However, production was down for about a week, with clean-up and paper work taking much longer to complete."

"Our customers have been so loyal and patient this year," Johanna added. "We are glad to be celebrating our 25th anniversary. We've turned the corner, and it marks a positive new chapter for us and Audio Enhancers."

Re:  Audio Enhancers and Southern Comfort Conversions Team Up

What happens when the manufacturer of the world's largest consumer vehicle joins forces with the leader in the automotive speaker cabinet industry? The result is a sound that will literally take your breath away.

When Southern Comfort Conversions, a treandsetter in the field of high-end conversion vehicles, decided to upgrade the sound system for their massive International CXT trucks, they turned to Audio Enhancers, an international provider of custom-built automotive speaker enclosures.

Audio Enhancers and Southern Comfort Conversions teamed up to engineer an entirely new level of acoustically correct sound within a world-class enclosure exclusively designed for the International CXT. By joining forces, these companies have been able to offer customers the most cutting-edge sound capabilites available in the market.

Southern Comfort Conversions prides itself on offering customers the ultimate in innovative automotive accessories, such as  a phenomenal sound system resulting from a new speaker enclosure Audio Enhancers designed to be custom fit into the International CXT chassis.

To meet Southern Comfort Conversion's goal of enhancing the sound system of the International CXT truck, Audio Enhancers had to surmount numerous challenges. "The space we had to work with was limited," explained Ted Sharp, president of Audio Enhancers, "so that made the design more difficult. The solution was to down-fire the subwoofer, which protected it while also creating a loading effect and increasing bass output." The custom-built enclosure combines a forward-fire slot-port with a down-fire single 12" subwoofer.

The resulting audio enclosure not only empowered Southern Comfort Conversion to achieve their objective of upgrading the Internationl CXT's sound system, but they are now able to offer an entirely new level of superior sound that has never been available ina "one-off" factory-designed vehicle.

Audio Enhancers is also adding a dual 10" version of this enclosure, which is being designed to accommodate a pair of Memphis Car Audio, M3 Memphis subwoofers and a Memphis Belle amplifier. The dual 10" version will be unveiled at the 2005 November SEMA show in Las Vegas, the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world hosted by the Specialty Equipment Market Association.

Established in 1979 by Rod McSweeney, Southern Comfort Conversions builds conversions for General Motors, DaimlerChrysler and Ford, customizing new vehicles for distribution at new car dealerships.

During the past 23 years, Audio Enhancers has supplied car speaker cabinets to more than 750 dealers, seven distributors and numerous OEM accounts. Audio Enhancers, based in Ardmore, Tennessee, is an international provider of a wide selection of audio speaker enclosures, boasting the world's largest selection of vehicle-specific and driver-specific models.

Audio Enhancers Announces New Enclosures for Alpine’s Type X Subs

Ardmore, Tenn., Sept 26, 2005 -- Audio Enhancers announced today the introduction of new AX10 and AX12 speaker enclosures designed for and approved by Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. The enclosures are designed with Alpine’s high-end, mobile electronics niche in mind, taking bass performance to an entirely new level. Audio Enhancers has built its reputation and success on innovative engineering and design. The company’s new slot-ported, performance-engineered enclosures were custom-built to house Alpine’s Type-X subwoofers. Within the new enclosure, the subwoofer boasts powerfully clear and smooth sound.

“To reach the full potential of a ‘high end’ subwoofer,” explained Ted Sharp, president of Audio Enhancers, “you need to design and build an enclosure to the exact specifications provided by the speaker manufacturer. Alpine’s North American product engineers sent us their specifications and then left it up to the professionals at Audio Enhancers to create an ‘off-the-shelf’ performance enclosure that no other subwoofer or enclosure company offers.”

Audio Enhancers met Alpine’s challenge by designing and producing the AX10 for the Alpine 10” SWX-1042D and AX12 for the 12” SWX-1242D. These enclosures offer the sound quality and power handling capabilities of sealed enclosures with the kind of SPL output only ported enclosures can provide. The new AX10 and AX12 enclosures boast 1.5” MDF face plates and an all 0.75” MDF construction, tuned slot ports, platinum terminal cups and latex-backed carpet.

“Our Type-X subwoofers have many outstanding design features that allow for an incredible amount of linear excursion, very low amounts of distortion and great SPL output while providing sound quality that other ‘high-end’ subs just can’t offer,” explained Kyle Franey, Associate Product Engineer for Alpine Electronics. “An outstanding subwoofer in an outstanding enclosure can only result in outstanding sound!”

The new AX10 and AX12 enclosures will retail at $159.99 and $169.99 respectively, and will  be offered by all authorized Audio Enhancers retailers. Consumers and retailers are invitied to visit the company’s web site at www.audioenhancers.com. For more information about Alpine’s Type X subwoofers,  visit www.alpine-usa.com.
