During the past quarter century, Audio Enhancers has supplied car speaker cabinets to more than 900 dealers and distributors throughout the world. Now 25 years later, the company continues to embrace Ted's vision and principles. However, as the company's 25th anniversary gets underway, Ted and Johanna admit their corporate mission and vision have changed somewhat since the company's inception.

"We've had to endure a lot of personal and professional challenges this year," confided Johanna. In January of this year, Ted was diagnosed with throat cancer, which brought the couple's mutual goals into sharper focus and priorities into perspective.

"I'm thankful for our loyal employees, our customers. prayers, calls, emails and cards of encouragement we received during these past months," shared Johanna. "Ted's prognosis is very good and his faith is carrying him through."

Complicating matters, later in April, a windy day caused a burn pit at the Audio Enhancers. facility to spread, burning the back of building.

"The fire happened during Ted's worst week of treatment," Johanna remembered. "We were blessed that we were able to save the building. However, production was down for about a week, with clean-up and paper work taking much longer to complete."

"Our customers have been so loyal and patient this year," Johanna added. "We are glad to be celebrating our 25th anniversary. We've turned the corner, and it marks a positive new chapter for us and Audio Enhancers."
